I think you might need to add money using an eshop card, I'm not sure if Japanese eshop will use your american card or not though. from aerisdead.

I’m not getting this. The link in Super Robot Wars 30 produces a “software not available” error no matter what I do with region or language. I made a new user and it’s the same.

Did you get this working? I’ve definitely downloaded demos and games from the JP shop, but it was years ago.

No. I got bored fucking around with it and started playing Mother 3 again. I can get into the shop and see everything written in Japanese but it doesn’t really seem like any of the games are different from what I’d see in a “US shop”. I can’t find SRW 30 in the shop because…it’s very hard to find a game on the Switch store sometimes even when you type the exact name of it into the search field. It’s not Google. The in-game link to the DLC produces an error regardless of what region or language is set. I’d love it if they just rereleased the game on a card with all the DLC because I’d love to just buy my way out of this problem.
