Speaking as a person who doesn't like sports, football has to be the most inane thing humans have ever done. To make a decent sports game for non sports fans, you've got to start with something at least mildly interesting like basketball (NBA Jam) or tennis (Virtua Tennis), I think. i disagree. i love golf games of the hotshots/neo turf/pangya variety yet the actual "sport" is incredibly dull to me. it's all in the execution.
