The Japanese version is one of the best games on the DS. Do you know anything about what type of localization it's getting? I can't seem to find any information about it at all using Google. it was only announced yesterday. I don't know what type, but I do know that 'retro game master' is the official title they're trying to push the entire series with in the u.s. - some of it just got shown in a NY film festival somewhere. Xseed did a pretty good job with Brave Story which I just played, so I'm guessing it'll be a pretty faithful localization. Xseed is mainly ex Square USA people that left after the merger with enix. It's very surprising that it's coming over, since I've heard that Namco doesn't like other people localizing their work. If Xseed is smart they'll use this as a stepping stone to bringing over the Idolmaster games. I'm not too personally interested in them but I know whoever brings them over is going to make lots of money.
