At the digital level it could in theory be great, but the only way to get sound out of this thing is the headphone port, which sounds like hissy raspy garbage. Far better than a GBA, but utter junk compared to the actual hardware its emulating, or even a Kaosilator for that matter. With different a D/A converter and amp (probably the same chip on a DS) it could sound OK, and since people are hacking breakout boxes for 2600s and Speak and Spells these days someone might just do it.
