No, seriously - what is this "Yuna" you're referring to? Link? Example?

Yuna. Its a Hudson Soft series. Its on PC Engine, PCFX, Saturn, and Playstation. Designed by Mika Akitaka. Its cute girls. Cuter than slimy reptiles and stuff anyway. It doesn't really matter.

I freaks me out when Denny's waitresses in their early 20s call people "honey". Its like they are fully prepared to be old.

That IS weird. I dunno, unless you're from some really folksy town or maybe - MAYBE - the south you can get away with it, but otherwise it just sounds totally out of place.

maybe they just hope one of their customers will be a millionaire who will sweep them out of their crappy town, so they're hedging their bets by being affectionate.

Some lady at Hallmark did that to me the other day when I was killing time while my wife was getting her haircut. "Excuse me, honey. Do you mind if I pinch your son's legs?" Ummmmm.... yeah....?

Argh, I fucking hate assholes who think it's okay to touch someone's kid. Like, don't even put your finger in my kid's hand, you fuck. It's cute for you, but I don't know who the fuck you are.

why do people want to touch children so much? maybe a similar compulsion to petting animals?

Kaz has some meaty thighs that are irresistible to pinching fingers.

that's really weird. I would never be interested in pinching a child just because it is there. it's like a small human, you wouldn't do that to a grown one.

I think adults would probably would touch each other a lot more if there weren't social barriers against it. Animals have an instinct towards physical contact that goes much deeper than modern society's concept of "personal space," so we are constantly worrying away at the edges of those barriers whenever we can. I don't see what the objection is to having someone touch your baby. What exactly is it that you're afraid of, Mark? "I don't know who the fuck you are?" What does that mean? Do you think the person is going to like steal your baby and run away with it if they're able to get close enough to touch or something?

I avoid people's babies, but I think I agree with you.

Yeah, I don't think I'm real touchy with people's babies, either, but maybe I should be. Not so much for myself, but for tha babiez. Meeting and interacting with (which basically mean touching given a baby's world of perception) a lot of people seems like it would help a baby develop a better understanding of self, society and the inter-relation of the two as it grows. There is a connection to allergies and SUVs here.

Maybe she just went to the bathroom and she has some AIDS on her finger, and then it gets on the baby. Then you'd have an AIDS baby.

I think that it's just rude. I don't go touching random people. Even outside of social norms, babies are not equipped to handle bacteria and pathogens like the rest of us, and you can't tell me that everyone has the same standard for "clean".
