NES. It's a pretty impressive famiclone. It will actually run Castlevania 3.

Will it run Japanese CV3? To me anything that plays massive NES carts isn't portable enough.

Hmmm... not really sure about that. You would need a converter though which is going to make the game roughly the size of an NES cart anyways.
