Posted by Jeurja on January 06, 2010 at 18:00:26 EST in reply to I bought Metal Gear Solid Mobile (Verizon exclusive) and am just impressed as hell with what they were able to do with 1.7 mb. Took about 100 minutes on my first playthrough. It incorporates elements from the first 3 Metal Gears- the setting and weapons of MGS1, the camo meter of MGS3, and the mindfuck from MGS2. The controls are simplified down to d-pad for movement, ONE action button for damn near everything, first person view, and 2 keys for codec and inventory. There are also 14 VR Missions (8 sneaking, 6 weapons) included. It's a brilliant piece of work and a true Metal Gear game down to the frustrating last boss fight. Pics inside from Esco.
I got an iPod Touch for Christmas and am really enjoying it. But this Metal Gear looks cooler than the Metal Gear for iPod/iPhone.
