Reminder: a "shooter" is either side scrolling or vertical. Doom/Quake/etc is not a shooter, neither is Time Crisis. Also, nothing European, please. (n/t) from SignOfZeta.
Space Invaders Extreme and Star Soldier on PSP are pretty good.
