Hadn't heard of the game before. Ooh let's see what YouTube has on it (inside...) The hazy brown of that track isn't as interesting as most Hydro Thunder stages, but gameplay-wise it doesn't look half bad. The GameFAQs user review says it was formerly called "Xleration," but I don't see an arcade game by that name--so was this a console-only game? from Paleface.
This suddenly jogged my memory. Sega made this really cool monster truck rally type game called Dirt Devils, I think, right around this same time. I played it in one arcade before it disappeared. I wonder if it was officially distributed in the US. It's a damn shame all their big attraction type games of that era never got ported to Dreamcast (and damn were there a lot of them) though I do wonder if they'd be any fun without a big machine to sit in.
