Im about 7 hours in and pretty happy with it! I tried the first few DQ's a couple years back, and part 4 last year, on DS. Didnt like any of them! Im liking this because it has more than enough to keep me from realizing the INSANE linearity of these games. I love looking for sidequests and the fact theyre so neatly arranged. Searching for treasure! Also, I love how personal all the small stories are. They manage to captivate me far more than the "epic" Final Fantasies Square is throwing out the past 8 years. So yeah, I think ill be able to finish this one for a change.
