Persona 4 taught me that I quite like SMT, and when you started talking about the "daily rhythm" thing, it sealed the deal. I LOVE that. It's why I enjoyed SNES Harvest Moon so much. That's also the reason why I would still like to play the game Jeurja was a raving about a couple of years back. It was a japanese summer vacation simulator or something? I may have invented a new genre there. Anyway, it sounded amazing, starting off the day with a walk through the forest, catching some bugs. (n/t) from Mental.

Thanks! What are your thoughts on it now, after some time has passed? (n/t) (Mental) (16:41:16 08/09/10 EST)
It is lovely. I guess you could probably get away with just playing ONE of the games, since they're all pretty similar. I have all 4 of them (I have the original for PSP, which is the game that got me hooked on the series, but it was a PSOne game long before). If I had to choose one... I'd probably go with the first one, simply because it seemed like the easiest to get through with little/no Japanese knowledge. They're all really good, though. The first one takes place in the countryside, the second by an ocean, the third on a farm, and the fourth in a small rural town. They were made for PSOne, PS2, PS3, and PSP, respectively, though you can now get 1, 2, and 4 (of course) on PSP. Boku 3 sports REALLY nice prerendered backdrops on PS3. I personally like prerendered graphics in games. I recently got Devil Summoner (hey!) due to my recent love affair with Shin Megami Tensei and that has some really nice prerendered backdrops. Anyway... I say give the first one a shot. If you like it, try out the second and so forth. They're all really good. I actually wrote an article about them for an issue of Game Time that never got published (our "lost" issue, if you will). Maybe I should spruce it up and put it on GameSetWatch...? But I was going to save it for whenever we actually send out another print issue... we were going to do a new one and throw in our "lost" issue as well. (n/t) (Jeurja) (20:28:07 08/09/10 EST)
