I tried again recently (Final Burn Alpha is pretty nice), but I couldn't make myself stick with it. Maybe playing them in ROM form somehow feels less complete or something? I dunno. Heck I couldn't even hang with the Steam version of 98 Ultimate. Anyway if this LB crash bug doesn't get fixed I'll just get the PS2 version off Japanese PSN and call my NeoGeo collection done, I've got pretty much everything else I want on there now--well, except SamSho2. (And just to note, the PS2 "NeoGeo Online" ports--now on JP PS3 as PS2 Classics--are excellent, as are the NeoGeoStation ports on PS3.) (n/t) from Paleface.
I was really surprised by the quality of the Wii ports. Pretty much totally superior to a Neo. With both systems running the same game at the same time on the same display, both putting out 240p component, the Wii has a better signal. This is probably because of the age difference...but anyway, yeah, I need to hack my Wii this weekend. Assuming it does Sega CD and MAME just as well it's probably the perfect SD emulation machine.
