I was just looking at my 3DS games, and realized this might be the best handheld ive ever owned. New games like Mario 3D Land, Luigis Mansion 2, Bravely Default, semi new games like new mario bros 2, Zelda link between worlds and remakes likes Ocarina of Time and majoras mask. Wow. And theres dozens more to name. So do so! What are your favourite 3ds games? Underrated too! Like Chibi Robo Zip Lash. Its amazing, buy it!

I love the ngp, but can you honestly say that when you take away the nostalgia? Pretty much every game has a better version on a newer handheld. Best fighting game handheld, but even then.

What NGP games have better newer versions? Maybe Puzzle Bobble but...not Card Fighters, not KOF, not MotM, not portable anyway.

Oh man, Card Fighters DS, what a letdown. On a technical level the NGPC fighting games were surpassed as early as the GBA, but something like KoF EX2 still feels half-baked compared to the heart that was put into KoF R2 and the like. Something like SFA3 Max on the PSP puts all the fighting games on the NGPC to shame, but you could hardly call that an original creation. So that leaves us with Metal Slug XX on the PSP, which I'd gladly play over the NGPC ones.

I feel slightly estranged to Nintendo handhelds. While I'd love to give something like A Link Between Worlds a try, I'm content with the (old) stuff I can play on the Vita. To me Vita is like the grandson of the GBA.

Fair enough, the Vita is amazing. So much content available. The 2DS would be great for you though, at 90 euro with Mario 2 or Mario Kart included. Link between worlds has an RRP of 20 euro.

The sales pitch is good, but I don't need the additional clutter of another handheld in my life. I'm fine with just a Vita, even though there's this feeling of wanting to experience Nintendo games. And hey, it's not as if I don't still have a bunch of normal DS games I've yet to play... One day I'll start Picross 3D, just you wait.

If your experience is anything like mine and a few friends Picross 3D will be the only video game you play for at least a month. It stayed in my DS for three months.

When I'm into 3DS I'm really into it, but that's not that often. I actually got bored and gave up on Layton vs Phoenix Write or whatever its called. Layton going polygonal was not a good thing for me personally and I guess that's the issue with 3DS in general. I love Pilotwings and I've probably played that more than anything. I don't like polygons though and most of the 2D stuff just makes me wonder how much better it would look on Sony stuff. The region lockout hasn't helped. I pretty much only buy imports except for Nintendo normally so this is the first Nintendo handheld I've had that I can't play Super Robot Wars on.

Graphically Layton DEFINITELY didnt improve on 3DS. They combined a touch screen with a 3d screen and forgot where the focus should have been. They still have wondrous stories and puzzles! The Layton VS Wright game wasnt great.

if you don't have attack of the friday monsters, fairune, or gotta protectors, you should get those. Also, I enjoyed soul of darkness, a blatant castlevania ripoff that is pretty okay.

I cannot deny 3DS has been good to me. Too many games to call any my favorite but if I had to pick one which was underrated it would be Codename:STEAM. The game was criminally panned and sold even worse. I guess its hard to get excited about a story full of literary classics when your user base doesn't read books.
