Posted by Paleface on November 01, 2016 at 15:14:21 EST in reply to those Hamster Arcade Archives titles tend to be impulse insomnia purchases. I regret most of them as I rarely go back but they provide a few nights of entertainment. There is one exception, City Connection, which I play incessantly, and also got Vani really into which I consider a very happy moment. Oh, I have zero interest in these SNK ports. I have so many ways to play these now it's insane. I think I'd maybe be tempted on a SamSho II port with online matchmaking like they had on 360, same for releases of 98UM and 02UM but I have those again on PC. (n/t) from twelvest.

Yeah they've pretty much been that way for me as well: of the PS4 ones I think I only had Double Dragon, except as I was looking into all this I noticed they had Bubble Bobble, and I impulsively got that and Double Dragon II: The Revenge--mostly to play with a friend, which I did and it was fun, but now I don't really want to play any of them again. ; ) It's different for me with fighting games, though--I do like to keep going back to those. (Also bit of an addendum to my original post: in playing these I noticed that they all have the Score Attack (play without continues) and Caravan (play for 5 minutes) modes--except for Double Dragon, which is the oldest of the ones I have.)
