No, it’s fair. It really sucks that a monster can just buy something you have enjoyed for 20+ years, as basically just his play thing. He obviously didn’t for any sort of profit. And after the company came back from almost nothing :(

Yeah, I mean I hope they can somehow get rid of him some day, but it doesn't seem likely. For a while I was thinking it would be for the best if Capcom bought them, but anyway I don't see how that would happen. Then I thought well all the decent developers could quit and form a new company and make a new fighting property, about time for one anyway, but then...are there any really inspired developers still there? KOF XV for instance is looking like a slightly spit-shined version of XIV, argh. Really all I would like is for possibly decent future conversions of the good old games not to be tainted by a horrible dictator. What a strange sentence to have to type.

I think it’s almost certain that we will eventually have a different majority stakes holder. SNK is the Aston Martin of video games. They just go out of business over and over and get sold off to the next rich fan boy. It will be years of course, maybe after the Switch store is discontinued, but I have little doubt.
